We’re incredibly proud to have international students at the core of our SRC community. Your presence brings diversity, new perspectives, and a vibrant global spirit to college life, and we’re here to make sure you feel right at home from day one.

International students typically arrive a week before UK-based students, giving you time to settle in, get your bearings, and ease into life at Durham. From the moment you arrive in September, our dedicated International Committee will be ready to welcome you with open arms.

Our amazing team of International Freps (Freshers’ Representatives) will be on hand to support you every step of the way. Whether it’s helping you get your visa verified, showing you around Hild Bede, or even joining you on your first Tesco run, they’re here to make your transition as smooth, friendly, and stress-free as possible.
