If you're applying to Durham and considering Hild Bede, it's important to know that first-year students for 25/26 are housed across two accommodation sites: our main site, Rushford Court, and our annex site, Brackenbury. Both are university-managed and designed to support a smooth and enjoyable transition into university life. Brackenbury offers fully furnished flats with single en suite bedrooms, separate shared living rooms and kitchens, and excellent facilities - including a free washing machine in every shared kitchen and free communal drying. The living spaces are modern and comfortable, whilst only being a short 10 minute walk away from our main site. No matter which site you're placed at, you'll be part of the same vibrant Hild Bede community, with full access to events, support services, and college facilities.
